  1. Hamtaro’s totally underrated. Hamtaro’s character arc in the second season, tracing his descent into sunflower seed addiction, is a truly emotional and deep experience. This new season supposedly deals with the Ham Ham Bunch’s struggles with prejudice directed towards them by the Gerbil supremacists.

  2. What?????
    They are canceled?????
    NOOOOOO!!!!!!!
    Durarara is canceled too.
    ffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
    This can not be!!
    Curse you iShitHara!

At least we still get Rio.

    1. /joking

BTW: since you said this season you will blog two series, is the idea to have a vote for one of them still standing?

PS: seams like if I use angular parentheses for the /joking tag, it gets hidden even if it’s not valid html.

      1. He already refused it, since it would be copycating some other blogger, who’s name I can’t remember.

  3. You almost had me there.
God I’ve fallen for so many April Fool’s jokes today. I useless.

To be honest, I was 100% sold until I read the bit about My Little Pony.

      1. @Shinmaru

Yes it is. Also very worrying.

Worst of all, after two pretty decent ova’s by Ryouki Kamitsubo, the director of Rio’s been stuck in charge of the Hen Zemi tv series for some reason. It look’s like there might be a serious contender with Lottie’s Toy for terribad anime of the season after all!

      2. To echhi, annoying brat is the second lead. It’s a vegas painted out as a good thing. I don’t think gambling should be considered any good. Many people suffer cause of it. Putting it on an anime as a fun place makes me think wether it’s a conspiracy.
Well, it doesn’t matter if most of you liked it. I just couldn’t get into it much like fractale, that mahou shoujo anime and level E.
        I’m somewhat ‘unique’ I think.
Ah, crap now I feel very lonely.

      3. But humans suffer as a result of their own choices. Why do others suffering matter? The emotions of humans and how it affects their reasoning is very confusing.

        More importantly.

Why don’t you like to watch me and find about what I have to offer?I’m all about saving the universe after all.

      4. Like I said, it’s bad so I can’t watch it. I watched Oreimo cause I liked both Kuroneko and Saor(who did a terrible job at the last ova episode.). But Rio and the others don’t have any interesting and unnanoying chars. I especialy tought that lil girl lead of Rio was one of the most annoying chars in anime. Why? She’s one of the most impossible things in the world, a rich girl who isn’t spoiled.

      5. Think I might find out about you Janette. That is if you promise you wont turn me into a mahou shoujo just like Scamp. Lmao

  4. Well there’s Rio and 30 year old virgins. .. cheer up everyone :). And there’s Bakugan! Maybe it’s time to relieve your 2nd childhood or something.

Following this chart, did you know that Madoka aired today?

  5. I don’t get this. How is this funny? This is perfect! It effectively eliminated all the crap in favour of the good shows like Hamtaro. One can always have more hamster shenanigans.

Health and Physical Education is still on? Great, it’ll really come in handy now. And good to see that Satan’s directing Rio 2. Couldn’t have it any other way.

  6. Should have been more subtle IMO. Have like one or two shows cancelled that way people actually take it seriously. I probably would have. But after seeing mass cancellations, you know its a joke =P

      1. I would go all like, ‘Omg, what am I gonna do the next 3 months. Nothing but study? Noooooooooooo….’ runs away in panic

  7. Oh, we can comment now? That takes away half the joke, bad choice to open them up. Besides, what’s there to say? Everyone knew it was an attempt at an April Fools joke.

      1. It appears that you missed the larger part of the joke of the blog post. Sorry to hear. Bugger off now please.

  8. I laughed really hard at this. 🙂

I don’t know why so many people think April Fool’s Day is about fooling people, sometimes it’s just about doing something outlandish or silly. This year’s prize goes to the BBC with their flying penguins, I have to say.
