On a dark unlit night, date unknown
The seeds of sekai seifuku had grown
Wandering lonely streets, homeless and alone
Is our protagonist, hunger in tow
Though short of funds he has great ability
In chancing upon fierce, grey-haired lolis
Though young in appearance, her trappings betray
A leader of great charisma and great sway
In less than a minute, our protag fickle
Is entranced by this walking sex-offender registry
On a characteristically childish pink tricycle.
Though I broke the format just that one time
I had to, because that holy shit that fucking line
Normally lines aren’t that perfect
I don’t want to rhyme again with perfect
Seriously fuck rhyming with perfect
Anyway, back on topic, before I forget
How does world destruction a loli beget?
She has potential, that much I know
But to use it, she needs more greatness in tow
Thankfully the world is easier to take
Because she commands a skeleton that eats cake
And though prevalently light in tone
There’s a darkness that seeps through the bone
Why is martial law considered the norm
If the army doesn’t oppress in some form?
I see it as a treatise meant to to impress
On the military-industrial complex
There’s plenty to analyze and parse
Though it’d be just as cool as a farce
The protag is shit, but what do you expect?
We’re here for dumb action, to watch tanks get wrecked.
There’s more to it than wanton mayhem
Hell, it could have the makings of a gem
In spite of the disparate elements
Everything eases well into alignment
The pacing is quick, the characters colorful
It’s never a grueling chore, like watching Shuffle!
Though an exploding octopus doesn’t hurt
Neither would Kate putting on an actual shirt
At least her statue at the start is tasteful,
But let’s hope the show doesn’t get wasteful.
Is world domination by Kate really so bad?
I don’t think so; it seems pretty fucking rad.
Enjoy blogging your non-exploding octopus shows, SUCKamp and LOSERmaru.
