I'm really enjoying the show and the madness that is Hamyuts Meseta. That, Trapeze and Darker than Black are the only shows I'm still watching from this season.SZS, oh god did that show outstay its welcome. I stopped watching back in the second season. However I can't hold much grudge against Shaft when they produced Bakemonogatari which not only fufilled my comedy quota but also produced one of the best romance episodes I've ever seen with episode 12.There is a fair few interesting shows from next season though. I didn't want to bash the autumn season during the season preview because of how much I hate it when people do that but even then I could tell I would be hard pressed to find something I liked. But take my word on this, next season will have more quality shows than this season.

@temperus

I’ve been surprised at how little love Bantorra gets. I dumped Letter Bee a while back for Armed Librarians, which is going in the opposite direction in terms of story and quality. I also managed to get into Aoi Bungaku and Eve no Jikan, which kept me sane while everyone else watched Railgun and Kimi ni Todoke hoping for something interesting to happen.Speaking of Todoke, I'm wondering how much longer they can milk it? I found it cute for all of two episodes before it started to become obvious it was just the same stuff over and over. I haven't liked any recent shoujo, but then I'm getting old (maybe I'm finally old enough to appreciate Honey and Clover's ridiculous take on "romance").I guess I could suffer through more Winter Sonata or White Album, but frankly I think Spice and Wolf II was "good enough" to fill my "romance" quota for a while.. while I wait for the Darker than Black OVA I might just dip into Fullmetal Alchemist or Requiem for the Phantom.I also agree that 2009 was light on decent comedies. I settled into Astro Fighter Sunred II, but I'm sure that's not everyone's cup of tea. I suppose that's why people were happy to see yet ANOTHER season of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (although I'd had more than enough after the first season).I'm honestly not looking forward to the new lineup for Winter, but that's fine - there is a lot of stuff I still haven't seen from past years.

I hear ya.
