With the thousands of anime characters out there, many with similar roles and personalities, there can only be so many different character designs. So there are bound to be look-alikes. I've seen many look-alikes over the years and it doesn't bother me. As long as the supposed copycat series gives me at least a few good, unique traits, I don't have a problem with it.
