Because the only time Chibitalia gets to be badass is in that one strip that hasn’t even been animated yet. Chibimano, though, gets to be badass whenever he wants.

Serious question for my Hetalia readers: Are you bored of chibitalia hate? I’m pretty bored about hating on the guy myself. In fact, I was bored of bitching about the guy after the first season. However whenever I make a comment about ‘lol chibitalia sux’ people go ‘yay! I knew you’d say that!’ and so I continue.
So chibitalia hate. A boring and jarring repetitive occurance or hilarious ongoing joke?

I personally find Chibitalia to be cute. Like, kick him and watch his reaction cute. … Kinda like… Evan Lysacek cute, ya know? You just WANT to beat the crap out of him. I mean, how many of you could say you DONT want to hit Chibitalia? He makes cute noises.. The only time I personally felt you went too far is episode 52, with HRE and the dog.
Well, in all honesty, I don’t hate Chibitalia. (This is coming from the founder of the HRExChibitalia club on DeviantArt, so if I did say I hated him… well…)
I do find him annoying sometimes, though. >.< He seemed much more bearable in the strips for some reason…
as long as you don’t go into a full rage frenzy everytime chibitalia shows up, scamp, i think you’ll be good. lately i think you’ve just been trying to wittingly ignore that chibitalia happened in the ep in the first place, which is amusing in its own sense.

In his own way. If you look videos like Hetalia Douga, you can’t help to go like “Awwww~ This little dude is so cute~”. The Anime just gave him tooo many moments, when he’s like that. And that pissed the fans off.
