So welcome to my new site, The Cart Driver. So do all those things like subscribe to the feed, follow the twitter etc. Merry Christmas to you all, it’s great to see you managed to get here. At least, I hope you managed to get here and I’m not talking into a void.
One hundred million thanks goes to Gargron to designing this lovely site and putting up with my newbishness, me being picky and all the name changes. If you spot any glitches with the new design or any problems please do leave a comment. I’m sure he’d love me to be asking him to change all these little things all over again.
I’ll be continuing my episodic blogging of Hetalia and Letter Bee over here. Yes, I’m an episode behind on Letter Bee but I felt like waiting until I was here before I blogged the latest episode. It’s not like much in the way of dramatic plot twists happened anyway. As for what changes you’ll see otherwise, I’ll probably be making a lot more shorter posts about series that have finished airing along with more editorials. Basically, I’m taking this blogging thing to a whole new level. I know longer have other people around to pick up the slack when I’m feeling lazy. Now that I have my own site, blogging has become srsbsnss. Actually I’m not sure exactly what direction I’ll be taking in the future in regards to blogging but hey, we’ll see what happens.
I’ve done lots of organisation with categories and whatnot but you’ll also notice a drop down menu called ‘anime’. Gargron originally designed that for storing episodics but I butchered it and turned it into a place to store posts that are specifically about a certain anime but not an episodic. I couldn’t come up with a name for their category (Gargron suggested ‘asides’ but that’s not quite the right name) so currently any post under there is a category virgin. If you can come up with a name for this post category then please tell me. You could get the honour of deflowering all those posts and removing their category-innocence. Or if you prefer your posts pure think that they work well enough without a category then again, tell me.
There’s also meant to be adverts but there’s so many options to choose from and I have no idea which ones to pick. I could stick them all on and see which one earns me the most money but then you’re staring at an ugly, ad-filled site. I wouldn’t want to taint my fabulous new site with adverts for string bikini warriors 3 (this really exists. J-list has some interesting merchandise advertised) but at the same time, this whole hosting thing costs quite a bit of money.
I think that’s about it. Welcome to my new site yet again. Now if you don’t mind me, I’m going to give a lift to some hot anime girl with lime-green hair in my cart full of straw.
