Updated version of the chart here
Chartfags Amazing Charts are coming out slower every season. Others have started making charts, but a lot of them are crap, wrong, in Japanese or just plain trolls. The problem is there isn’t a trustworthy one person making these charts anymore. So instead of complaining about it, I decided I’d try make them myself. Now this is my first time so it’s hardly like I’m going to be the trustworthy source yet, but I’ve got to start somewhere. If anyone could point out any problems or any suggestions for future charts then that would be much appreciated. I’ll get them fixed asap.
Right, about those not on the chart. All information on what’s coming up is taken from moonphase.cc and Anime News Network. There’s a whole bunch of anime that you might see on other charts that aren’t here. Deadman Wonderland isn’t airing this season. Goulart Knights and Starry Sky were meant to air 2010 but they haven’t been confirmed for the Autumn season yet. Seeing as this is the last season of the year, you’d think they’d have to air this season but eh, I decided to er on the side of caution. Same with Geass Gaiden. That hasn’t had a release date announced either, much to my displeasure 
::Edit:: I bet some people will start throwing up winter season charts already. They will almost certainly be made up. The only anime confirmed for winter at the moment are Fractale, Gosick and Infinite Stratos. I think Wolverine and the second season of Baka to Test are also airing, but that genuinely is it at the moment.

Ah that chart. It was an earlier one of theirs that goaded me into making one of my own. I see they’re already on a v4 and have finally discovered moonphase.
I could say more about what a crappy chart it is, but it’s not like mine is exactly flawless

Some shows I have doubts :
Kuttsukiboshi : Seems its out on August 16th, and then Summer 2011, but not Fall 2010. Source 1 — Source 2
Queen’s Blade OVA : Already started airing so it’s not a “new” show for Fall, but it can still count. Source
Tamayura : I wanted to add it to my chart yesterday too, But I decided not to. If we consider the fact that Fall begins ~23rd September and ends ~20th December, this anime doesn’t fit in the “Fall” season. Source
Mirai Nikki : According to Moonphase and Kadokawa, they will attempt to release it in December. It could be beginning or middle-December, in which case it would enter the Fall season. If it’s during the end of December, then it’d be Winter season, thus it’s up to the individual’s opinion. Source
Koisento : I think it’s just a preview in November but not the actual thing. Source 1 — Source 2
This is just things as I see it of course. Doesn’t mean I saw it right for each of them.

Anywho, on your chart:
Movies. Asides from the fact that there’s a few you’re missing (I think Redline is finally being released in theatres), I think it’s pointless to put movies up because people never see them. If anything, you should just put up movie dvd releases (Fate/Stay Night, Nanoha, King of Thorn).
I wouldn’t put on Starry Sky or Goulart Knights. Starry Sky was said to air in 2010 aaaaages ago (I remember that because I was blogging Hetalia at the time). If there’s been no update since then, then what’s happened is it’s been delayed. If they get updated then put it on later versions of the chart.
Huh, I missed the Air Gear OVA. I thought it was a Jump Festa thing but I guess not.
For OVA dates, I admit I didn’t pay too much attention to dates beyond ‘what hasn’t aired yet and what’s going to air before the end of the year’. Dates move around for OVA’s an awful lot anyway, same with movie dvd dates.

All I’ve heard about the Starry Sky anime is…pretty much nothing. There are character designs for the main 12 guys (there’s 13) up on the official anime site, but those are pretty old.
In fact, nevermind about Tamayura, because Fall begins early September in Japan (forgot that) unlike my country, for example. So it does enter the Fall season.

You’re missing Soredemo. The manga won awards. Also World God Only Knows is another best selling manga and Manglobe are a good studio. Also if Starry Sky is announced I’m sure you’ll be all over that

Some interesting things there already, but I’m holding off starting my own preview for a few weeks yet (not entirely out of laziness, I’m hoping a few more things get firm Autumn airdates).

Very nicely done. I understand what you were trying to do, but I think a touch more space between rows would make it look a little sharper.
I’ve heard good things about Bakuman, and there are some second seasons towards which I have been looking forward (Hakuouki & Arakawa). Looking forward to learning more about the other shows.
I think I understand now why Chartfag changed to having the synopsis beside the picture instead of under it now. It really does leave so much more room.

You sure Bakuman has a . at the end? I checked ANN and didn’t see any. I’ll check again…ok, you’re right. Being a dot, it was pretty small and I didn’t even spot it =/. I’ll assume you’re right about to-love-ru as well, although they’re both rather small problems. I’ll fix them in the v2.

Oh yeah, I forgot that was one I wrote myself. There wasn’t any good synopsis around the interwebs for season 2 so I tried to write one myself. As usual though, my warped sense of humour prevents me from ever writing something serious =/

Two shows that I’ve heard to no end are The World only God knows and Bakuman, both believed to be great so looking forward to those.

After looking over the list again, I’ve revised my estimate to 5, though I still don’t see this season living up to the spring for example. I’d say it could just be an average fall season.
Different tastes etc. I thought the Spring season was kinda average. Winter was decent, Summer is terrible, Fall looks awesome
You made this? Very nice! The one thing I’d recommend is bumping up the font size of the show description. Either my eyes have gotten measurably worse since the last chartfags chart, or the font size is way too small.
Yah, I’m going to have to switch to the other chart style. I think I’ll swap to a white background from next season on, simply to differenciate myself from other charts
I personally don’t like white charts, and I do agree with fonts being slightly too small.
Good job for creating this, best chart out there for now, in my opinion.

Arakawa 2 (It’s Arakawa!), Bakuman and The World god only Knows.
This is just a bit of incentive for those who aren’t familiar with the manga, but Bakuman is written by the author of Deathnote. The story is obviously very different from Deathnote, but the characters are quite memorable.
As for The World god only knows, it is one of the most consistently good and innovative manga’s out there.
I for one cannot wait:P

Missing Hourou Musuko which was confirmed for a fall release in this months Comic Beam. Possibly a OAV.

Honestly, the very first reply was my own in order to bump the thread. Every subsequent reply almost feels like they accept it as the default, now it’s mostly just arguing over each other’s taste.
Ah I see. I thought all the copypasted charts were the exact same one but it was people circling what they’re watching. Actually I quite liked seeing that. The charts were born from 4chan culture. Even though I never visit the site myself, I’ve benefited from it with these charts and now I’m giving back. Thanks for sharing~

I just bumped it. It may die soon, but if you check it before it does you’ll see what everyone is going to watch and you get a general feel for which shows are being hyped and which are being prematurely buried.
As lawless and profane as certain anonymous imageboards can be, that sense of witnessing the raw id of the western otaku community is wholly addicting to me and that site is nothing if not pure distilled id. It’s also probably THE fastest way of spreading information virally in a social networking sense in the western world.

Well anyway, looks like a solid season. A lot of good shows, but none particularly stand out to me unlike in previous seasons… But that’ll probably change once I actually watch them
I thought the font was good, if a bit small
I didn’t want to use boring old Arial or Verdana. Also different font sizes is inevitable when names vary in length from ‘MM’ to ‘The World God Only Knows’.
Looks like an overall good chart. Deadman Wonderland should be coming out in October, a final air date will be announced on a wrap-around on the sixth volume on August 26th so I guess we won’t know for sure until then. You could leave just a little move space in between the rows of series, it looks overly cramped. Also some release dates would be nice, even if it’s just a month.
So that’s the deal with Deadman Wonderland. It has had barely any info released about its airing, not a website or anything so I really have my doubts it will air this season.

There is a slightly lower number of moe/fanservice anime this season but there’s still a few. Sora no Otoshimono, To Love Ru, Milky Holmes, Samurai Girls and Fortune Arterial keep the moe boat floating

so i ended up watching it all it turn out not bad at all yea its not the best

I’m so gonna watch Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru. I like the plot already, it’s made by SHAFT and the art style reminds me of Azumanga Daioh, which is still my favourite anime after all.
Also Arakawa 2 and Bakuman.
If you like, you can suggest me two of these anime. (As you can see, I like girly or weird anime with lots of comedy, but with no moe and no Fanservice, at least not many.)
Also I agree with Pawn on the release dates.
The manga has won awards as well. I expect Soredemo to be one of the sleeper hits of the season.
Girly + weird = Kuragahime. Noitamia generally skews female audience and do put out some pretty weird anime so that’s a certain. Then it’s a toss up between Star Driver and World God Only Knows
I think I’m gonna watch Kuragahime and World God Only Knows. The Guy looks interesting for a harem guy.

I personally find the description font size to bit too small and I need to zoom up to 120% to read it properly. But other than that its great!

The chart being on Moetron is awesome! Plus it just translates everything from moonphase and makes it all much easier to decipher. I’ll defo put dates on the v2, which I’ll probably put out at the end of the month

Right off the bat Arakawa and Ironman are on my list of must watch, the rest, like always I’ll end up watching some other 4 or 5, but well, time will tell.
OMG KOE DE OSHIGOTO!? I just googled some fap material and stumbled to it and started reading the manga, it was so hilarious (for me) but I wished there’s an ova/series for it and then I found out that THERE WILL BE AN OVA FOR IT!? SRSLY!? Plus the my little sister can’t be this cute took my interest and was really glad that it would have an anime adaptation, Fall’s gonna be better than summer now =D

Yay Can’t wait for new animes, but most of them are a little lame. Especially Star Driver. More of those pitiful harem in my opinion.
What I might watch myself will probably be the next season to Letter Bee and Hakuouki since I already watch the first season. Might as well watch the second season to see what will happen next.
A new anime I might consider would probably be Otome Yokai Zakuro. Looks pretty interesting except looks like it contains preverted scenes.

Hmm, I think you should know that Moonphase has a tendency of listing OVAs at places that they don’t really belong. Agricultural Musume is just going to be a one-shot OVA, so I think it’s better to list it among the OVAs rather than the TV-series..
Hmmm… looks like a bad season for me. Only one show in the sure-watch list (The world…), and one in the maybe-list. (Squid Girl)
