Because we love newcomers to the scene

I was invited by Exec­ut­ive Otaku over at THAT Anime Blog to join a bunch of other estab­lished blog­gers in giv­ing out advice to new blog­gers, so pop on over for a read. Remem­ber that we were also total new­bies at one point, totally baffled by the work­ings of Word­Press and in my case, not know­ing the dif­fer­ence between WordPress.com and WordPress.net, incap­able of get­ting any sort of sub­stan­tial com­ments from any­one other than my co-authors. It’s also inter­est­ing to have this post in con­junc­tion with my two-year death meta post recently. Blog­gers keep dying and those estab­lished blog­gers gradu­ally fade away, retreat­ing into GRSI (aka: Shinigami realm for anime blog­gers) so we always need new blog­gers into the fold.

Totally unre­lated note: See­ing Hetalia on Chart­f­ags amaz­ing chart made me real­ise how long it’s been since I’ve writ­ten a Hetalia epis­odic post. In case you were won­der­ing, I fully intend to get straight back into that show when it airs again. It’s only two weeks away now.
