Bakuman episode 12

Bakuman’s romance is terrible.

This settles it. An entire cour spent setting up the ‘romance’ between these two. So we understand what drives Saiko. Enough has been said on how bad the romances is. Not just me, but also RP and Shinmaru. It’s dreadful, and hopefully now she’s left it will be the end of it. My theory is that the first 12 episodes were used to try to get romance fans in, because they already have the shounen fanboys from the manga. From now on they should hopefully turn to the true shounen style Bakuman now that they have the romance fans in with these earlier episodes. It baffles me that anyone can actually be drawn in by these episodes, but I’ve read the MAL forums and yeah, there really are people who like this romance. Whatever, you guys have absolutely no taste whatsoever. That’s not even my mwahaha biased views. That’s a plain and simple fact.

Bleh, too annoyed to write anything more. Call me back next episode when we get back to manga making.

If it does, then I believe the trope that Bakuman invoked is known as ‘grown the beard’

If any series needed the Kanon car, it’s this one.

-.- I don’t get why in the first place Azuki wanted to stay separated untill they’ve achieved their dreams. It’s true they would distract each other while trying to achieve their dreams. But I don’t think I could let my love stray far away from me only to achieve my dream. This time I would be distracted on what she would be doing or if she would forget her feelings for me, … Anyways … *Turns his back and walks away casualy*

Which is annoying because I’m not a fan of TMD’s subs. But eh, at least someone still is subbing it

The Miho/Mashiro romance is boring as piss. However I dig Takagi/Miyoshi, especially with the outfits she wears. Fuck I’m surprised Takagi didn’t bend her over the swing and take her right there.

    Oh right, middle school…

I am normally a big romance fan, and I HATE this romance.
Why can’t they focus on Takagi’s and Moritaka’s relationship instead :(
Nahhh~ In most Shonen-Manga, Romance is the cancer that kills the action and the plot. Oda knows this, and that’s why he didn’t include romance in One Piece. Just make some subtle hints, where romance could be, and the fans do the rest.

But even though the romance is completely boring in this show, it is Saiko’s driving force. So really there could be no shonen-ish manga making if the terrible romance wasn’t there to incite it in the first place. It just took too long.

I’m not looking forward to the episode when I do get around to watching it.

I know the exact moment in the story when to call you back though. The one event that raises the hot blooded manga making and will hopefully save this anime adaption.
