(I needed a picture and haven’t used this in a while.)
Hello, friends! A couple of months ago Inushinde and I attended SakuraCon in Seattle, and after the trip I regretted not making a bigger deal of it on here, because the one reader I met was pretty cool
because he liked JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and read all my posts. So here I am now! SakuraCon was but the first of my convention trips this year. I’ve also scrounged up the money to attend Anime Boston this Friday through Sunday, and Inushinde is also attending because he can’t get enough of my company. We’re basically The Cart Driver’s America tour group, except we’re only visiting three places (we’ll also be at Anime Expo in Los Angeles come July). Well, maybe Inushinde will visit more conventions, I dunno. I can’t keep track of that guy. He’s like the wind.
Anyway! I’ll be attending Anime Boston all three days, although I’m leaving partway through Day 3 since I have an afternoon flight out of Boston. Most of the time, though, I will be running around indulging in nonsense. I’d post some sort schedule, but I have no clue what I will actually do once I touch down in Boston. I had a schedule during SakuraCon and stuck to it maybe half the time since hanging out with people was more fun than the panels most of the time. Still, there are some events I’m curious about and will likely make my way to during the course of the convention. Maybe we’ll find ourselves in the same place at the same time!
Any of you in the area or out of the area and flying across the country like I am?! Speak or forever be silent! Short of arranging some sort of meetup (which I am hesitant to do because I’ve never been to Boston and don’t know the area at all), the best way to
stalk keep track of my movements at Anime Boston like a lion tracking a gazelle is via Twitter. I like to say things on there! (It’s also a good source of silly fanfiction snippets and random bursts of excitement as I read JoJo. I am on SHEER HEART ATTACK now!) This will also encourage the shy among you to break out of your shells and approach a stranger in the hopes that he is your Internet hero. (Note: I am nobody’s Internet hero.) I think I am a friendly enough person, so give me a shout! Or give Inushinde a shout and play Tanto Cuore with him. That works, too!
