Oh, and I might as well add: Happy New Year!

    Pfff, Kimi ni Todoke is easily my favorite of the season, and even if you dislike shoujo have some respect for such a quality show :P . Especially in contrast to most of the other stuff this past season.

    For me, Spring was the lose season of the past year. Natsu no Arashi was a lot of fun, but otherwise that season was the slowest in my viewing.

    Looks accurate to me!

    Also, I definitely realize how crappy Kimi ni Todoke’s drama is. I actually enjoy the more slice of life elements of the series, but when the defenders come crawling out of the woodwork to defend the drama, it never ceases to amuse me. Face it: It sucks and has been done better by innumerable series.

    Yeah, fixed that for you. You’ll thank me when you realize how right I am.

    Kimi ni Todoke isn’t that good. I’ve said it earlier, but the only reason it’s so well liked is because almost everything else this season is crap. So it looks much better in comparison than it really is.

    I’ll just say that watching Kimi no Todoke weekly is too slow for me. I’m gonna wait for it to end and watch them in batches.

    @EO & Sorrow-kun

    Whut? You guiz suck! Eden of the East and Full Metal Alchemist alone made that season rock. Toss in Cross Game, Pandora Hearts and Natsu no Arashi and you have a season made of awesomeness. That spring season was the best season we’ve had since 2007.

    @reactions to Kimi ni Todoke

    It’s been kinda amusing to watch the gradual change in reactions across the interwebs to each episode of Kimi ni Todoke as the cuteness wears off. I’m predicting a backlash to occur pretty darn soon unless the show picks up

    @kadian1364

    I’m not entirely sure where your original comment ended up but I sure as hell couldn’t find where you put it. In the end I simply stuck it in my cart and moved it over here instead.

    I think if we replaced the guys in the pictures with a group of girls, thing would be completely different. ;)

    @Canne

    That’s actually a very fair point. Kobato + Kimi ni Todoke = happy girls.

    @ Scamp

    Eden of the East and Natsu no Arashi were really good shows, great even, but overall I had less shows that I enjoyed that season than I did in the others. Just my view though.

    @ Kimi ni Todoke haters

    To each their own, but if you like romance-drama (and not the forced drama, lots of tears, Key-style drama) it really is a great show. All the characters, even the supporting ones, have been given a lot of detail and personality from early on. The visual style is very nice. And Sawako’s deft handling of Kurumi’s attempts at pushing her and Kazehaya apart is full of win. There aren’t many heroines that, while still nice girls, are so willing to stand up for themselves when they would otherwise be intimidated.
